The Power of Vision: Write it, Speak it, Wait for it
One of the most powerful tools you can carry in life and in leadership is a clear vision. But vision doesn’t work just because it’s in your heart — it works when it’s documented, declared, and disciplined.
The Bible says, “Write the vision and make it plain…” Why? Because what isn’t written can easily be forgotten. When you write your vision down, you give it form, structure, and a place to live outside of just your thoughts. Writing is the first act of faith.
But vision is also for an appointed time — meaning it may not manifest immediately. This is where many give up. Just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it’s not happening. Timing is everything, and delay is not denial.
Your vision must also be spoken. Speak it over your life, your plans, your team, and your atmosphere. Words give life to what you believe. Declare it until your environment starts to reflect it.
And finally — you must wait on it. Waiting is not passive; it’s active trust. It’s showing up every day, doing the work, preparing the ground, and believing that what you’ve written and spoken will come to pass.
Write the vision. Speak the vision. Wait on the vision. Because in time — it will surely speak.
