Honor Sustains What Ambition Alone Cannot Build
My husband always says “One principle that never fails — whether in leadership, business, ministry, or family — is honor.”
Systems that reject honor, or get offended when honor is shown to others, eventually crumble. Why? Because honor creates order, and order attracts sustainability. When people feel the need to dim someone else’s light just to shine, what you’re witnessing is a system driven by insecurity, not vision.
Honor is not about flattery or blind loyalty — it’s about recognizing value, submitting to structure, and celebrating contribution. Environments where honor flows are environments where people thrive, grow, and stay rooted.
When honor is absent, confusion multiplies. Jealousy rises. Division creeps in. And before long, the system that was built with effort begins to fall apart — not because of lack of talent, but because of lack of respect.
So, whether you’re leading or serving, make room for honor. Show it. Teach it. Celebrate it. Because where there is honor, there is unity, longevity, and blessing.
Let’s dwell on these words even as we begin this week.
God bless you.
